Play with contrasts to make the subject shine.
Course description: In this watercolor class, we'll explore how a very dark background can burst all the light out of a foreground subject, and you'll learn how to create a striking contrast between shadow and radiance.
This project is the perfect opportunity to work on shades of yellows, oranges and reds, while discovering techniques for laying down a rich, deep, textured background, without weighing down the whole. A fine exercise in precision and boldness, ideal for those who already have some basic watercolor skills.
