Watercolor color explorations | Moths (Salon Olivier Bresse)
Course description: Dive into the fascinating world of moths with illustrator Marie-Ève Arpin, and develop your watercolor techniques in a creative, accessible and inspiring setting.
This theme, rich in textures, contrasts and subtleties of color, is a wonderful gateway to exploring the full expressive potential of watercolor.
The workshop is divided into two phases:
- - A technical exploration phase, to discover and test different approaches (textural effects, transparency effects, superimpositions, etc.).
- - A practical application on original butterfly illustrations printed on watercolor paper, provided by the artist - perfect for concentrating on color without worrying about drawing.
This workshop is open to all, but to get the most out of it, it's recommended that you already have a basic knowledge of watercolor. You don't need to have taken the introductory course, but a certain familiarity with the medium will help you get the most out of this more technical experience.
