The M Universe

Located behind the Madolaine boutique in Trait-Carré, L'Univers M is a modern room that has retained its historic character. Modern with a rustic touch, this space respects and enhances the architecture of Trait-Carré. Recognized by the heritage of the Société Artistique de Charlesbourg for having preserved as much as possible the existing structure of the building, L'Univers M won the “Rehabilitation of an old structure” prize.


ASSIGNMENT
The primary mission of L'Univers M is to be a unifying place where people can make the space their own. Some people will even be able to make a dream come true; a first opening, a product launch, a conference or simply giving courses. Others will be able to use this universe for events in a professional or family context.


ART GALLERY
Both a reception hall and gallery-boutique, L'Univers M proudly exhibits nearly a dozen emerging artists. The gallery's main mandate is to encourage varied artistic practices and thus promote local artists. We also aim to help entrepreneurs in the region carry out their projects by offering them an original, accessible and turnkey room.


Inaugurated in 2018 , L'Univers M has already hosted and organized several important events such as the Quebec Carnival , Christmas at Trait-Carré , the graduate exhibition of the Métiers d'art school and much more!
