Boss inspiration

Our suggestions for knitting or crochet projects and patterns for the spring season:

  • Tank tops : Simple, openwork or textured, perfect in cotton or linen.
  • Fine shawls and stoles : Ideal for cool evenings or air-conditioned rooms.
  • Short Sleeve Tops: In breathable, natural yarns.
  • Small bags or pouches : For a summery and practical look.

The SABAI top is a light and airy summer top with a boat neckline. It is very easy to knit, requires only a few techniques, and is therefore ideal for beginners.

The top is worked from top to bottom with raglan increases. The front and sleeves are worked in stockinette stitch, but the back features a romantic lace pattern that extends from the neckline to the i-shaped edge of the body.

Wool suggestions

Of course, to cover yourself in the fall, you always need the perfect wool. Our store has something for every taste and, of course, for every season.

Here are some product suggestions we would use to best fit this theme:

Criteria

For the competition selection criteria, here are some ideas that could guide the jury:

  1. Respect the seasonal theme : The project should accurately represent the season in question. For example, for winter, it could be something cozy and warm, while for spring, we might expect fresh colors and floral patterns.

  2. Technique : The technique must be well executed. Regular stitches, neat finishes, and the absence of visible defects would be important criteria to demonstrate mastery of the technique.

  3. Choice of fiber : Pay attention to the choice of fiber according to the season: opt for a light and breathable wool during warmer periods, or a thick and insulating wool for winter.

  4. Overall aesthetics : Colors and patterns should not only match the season, but also be harmonious and visually pleasing.

Registration

You have until September 22nd to submit your creation. After this date, the jury will review the projects, and the winners will be announced during one of our Facebook Live broadcasts during the first week of the following season.
