Wrought iron shears are an old concept - you may have seen larger ones once used for shearing sheep. This one is the same concept, but much smaller, they are rustically forged from a single piece of steel so they will never break.
They're slim, don't require you to unfold or stick your fingers through openings, and are customs approved for travel.
