Wooden Owl button to embroider

These owl buttons are a great way to personalize clothing or embellish accessories with a special custom color. The holes in each button are left empty so you can embroider the owl's eyes with your own needle and thread or embroidery floss.

When using these buttons in an area where they need to be functional, first fill the holes, then attach the button to the garment using only a few of the holes. If you only use the holes more towards the center of the button to attach it to the garment, the button works best (the center of the owl's eyes is perfect for this). These holes are quite small, so you can only use one or two strands of thread to fill it. These buttons can go in the washer and dryer, but as with most things made of natural materials, they will likely last longer if washed by hand or if the item is dried flat.
