Fusion - Fresco Used and Rustic Texture

Create European-style raw textures and material effects with the additive for Fusion Mineral Paint , Fresco . This product allows you to obtain aging effects while benefiting from excellent adhesion and good solidity. It ages surfaces and provides a worn, washed, rustic and unique texture and appearance. Fresco can be used on furniture, decorative objects as well as large vertical surfaces such as walls. Its 100% natural composition makes it a pleasant product to use.

Preparation:

Mix for 30 seconds with a whisk the ratio required for the finish you want. The lumps present in the mixture favor the textured effects. To reduce these effects, whisk the contents to break up any lumps. Here we present three easy-to-make styles, which you can model and personalize to your imagination.

Application:

Cracked texture:
Mix with a whisk 1 part of Fresco for 2 parts of Fusion Mineral Paint in the color of your choice. Apply a generous layer (1 to 3 mm) of this mixture with brushes. After 10-20 minutes, go over the brush again to crush any lumps. To accentuate the cracks, dry with a hairdryer.

European plaster chalk finish:
Mix with a whisk 1 part of Fresco for 8 parts of Fusion Mineral Paint in the color of your choice. Apply with a brush in all directions. If there are lumps, brush again to break them up.

Finished worn, washed out:
Mix with a whisk 1 part Fresco for 2 parts Fusion Mineral Paint in the color of your choice. Apply a layer of this mixture with a brush. After 10-20 minutes, go over the brush again to crush any lumps. Allow the paint to dry completely before layering the other colors which you will apply in the same way. Create random textures and effects so the app doesn't look perfect. When the desired number of colors is reached, use a nylon pad slightly damp green or white, to reveal the previous layers of paint. If you want to avoid mixing colors, work dry, with 180 to 220 grit sandpaper.
