Cubes & Hues is a collar pattern knitted from two brioche stitches. Worked in the round, its name comes from the checkerboard pattern of the purl and brioche stitches embellished with the color gradients of the Echoes yarn.
The collar begins with the Italian cast-on method, a cast-on for tubular ribbing, then alternates between brioche ribbing and checkered pattern. It is finished with ribbing and an Italian hem, creating a mirror effect for the hem.
A chart is provided on page 3 for the checkered brioche stitch pattern.
Material: 1 skein of Gusto Echoes wool
Dimensions : 73 cm in circumference / 36 cm in length
Circular needle : 3.5 mm - 60 cm or the size to obtain the dimension of the sample
Sample : 17 stitches - 48 rows = 10 cm in checkerboard brioche and blocked stitches
