A great base for your wardrobe: Staple Mitts are knitted from the bottom up with circular needles in 2 x 2 rib. The thumb gusset is then shaped with increases. The palm and knuckles are knitted long enough to be worn with or without the folded hem.

Mittens are intended to be worn with some ease.

This pattern can easily be combined with that of the Staple Hat Gusto Tuque

Material: 1 skein of Gusto Echoes wool
Dimensions: Three sizes included in the patterns

  • Size 1: 17.5 cm hand circumference for 15.5 cm total length
  • Size 2: 19.5 cm hand circumference for 19 cm total length
  • Size 3: 20.5 cm hand circumference for 23 cm total length
Circular needle : 2 or 3 mm - 60 cm or the size to obtain the dimension of the sample. Can also be done with double pointed needles

Sample : 26 stitches - 41 rows = 10 cm in 2 x 2 rib
